Abstract

Roofing construction of an oblique type of roof is one of the oldest and most commonly used methods, which ultimately showed the least defects. Covering as a waterproofing layer serves to prevent the penetration and outlet of water outside the building.

The theme of this work is to identify the causes of defects and failures of steel roofing. It pursue the division of roofs, basic types of steel roofing, the most common surface treatments, accessories and installation. It focuses on the basic rules for their use. Errors, that cause defects and faults steel roof covering, during production, handling, installation and use. Methods of identification and prevention. Appendix adds bachelor thesis, because it is dedicated to photographs of the most common disorders that occur, their analysis and solution of the causes
