Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to connect themes of Reliability and Safety using the mathematical system.
The thesis consists of three main themes as is Emergencies, Performance level and Safety Integrity Level. In the context of Emergencies, the thesis deals with simple industrial network in terms of the process design and identication of key indicators. For Performance there is the whole process´s description of design of safety features, including verification of required standard. The Performance Level is briefly desribed from point of view of the process design of safety features, including verification of the required standard. Safety Integrity Level is dealt in a simplified form, extended about risk´s influence on the design of technological systems. There are different annexes in the thesis, these includes model examples. As a supplement to the issue, there is complementary annex which contains links to tools and data sources suitable for solving these tasks.
