Abstract
This thesis deals with the issue of user experience (UX) in web applications. The theoretical part first describes the difference between UX and UI design. Then it describes how the overall UX design process should work. In the practical part, this process is demonstrated on the VŠB-TUO web application, according to which possible improvements to the UX of this page will be proposed.
