Abstract

This thesis deals with secondary batteries, specifically NiCd, NiMH and Li-ion batteries. The main objective of this work is to develop methods for estimating the residual battery power. Another challenge is the measured V/A characteristic secondary cells. There are generally described batteries, primary and secondary lithium cells, lithium-ion batteries. The practical part is focused on the separate measurement of several secondary cells and their estimated residual energy.
