Varování obyvatelstva v obci Polička

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the question of warning to inhabitants. At the beginning I focus on the new conception of inhabitants protection up to 2013, with a perspective up to 2020, and on the national inhabitants warning system generally, including demarcation of the legislative framework. Then the thesis is focused on the present state of the warning system in the town of Polička with the emphasis on occurrence of floods, and on efficiency improvement or upgrading the warning system in the town. Furthermore, there is the description of the Information and Warning System (IVVS) in the town of Polička, which replaces the mechanical rotating and electronic sirens.
