Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is comparison of softball clubs in the Czech republic in terms of marketing and management with more focus on sponsorship, being aware with the propagation of the club and to suggest improvement which should improve the propagation. The first chapter of the thesis is focused od defining theoretical concepts, which are desribed in terms of both general and softball. The focus is primarily on marketing, management, sponsorship in sport, SWOT analysis and softball. The second chapter describes the characteristic of the surveyed clubs, the SWOT analysis and graphical and textual interpretation of a questionnaire. The final section summarizes the results of the investigation, proposals and recommendations for imrpoving publicity.
