Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of electrostatic charge, specifically its generation, measurement principles, and protection methods in both standard and special conditions, such as explosive atmospheres. The thesis is divided into theoretical and experimental parts.
The theoretical part provides an analysis of the aforementioned subject matter. The experimental part includes several laboratory measurements focused on the distribution of electrostatic charge on non-conductive pipes. The concluding part of the work is dedicated to the practical application of electrostatic charge in industrial technologies. Attention is primarily focused on processes where electrostatic properties are utilized intentionally and in a controlled manner. Specific examples provided in the thesis include industrial electrostatic precipitators and coating technologies. The aim of this work is to provide an overview of electrostatics intended to facilitate the understanding of fundamental principles and to raise awareness of the significance of electrostatic phenomena.
