Summary The aim of my dissertation called „An Analysis of Activities of Golden Star Hotel“ is to find out the current state and to predict future development of the hotel based on the analysis. Then, by using results of the analysis I am going to define basic goals of the strategy and lay out the key ways of development. In theoretical part of the dissertation there are summed up information about the SWOT anylysis, tourism and accommodations. In practical part is introduced the Golden Star Hotel and based on the SWOT analysis was made an internal and an external analysis of its activities. At the final part there are, based on theoretical and practical findings, given suggestions and recommendations how to keep or even better the position of the Golden Star Hotel on the accommodation market.
