Od fiskální nezávislosti k fiskální regulaci v Evropské unii

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of the financial, economic and debt crisis in the development of fiscal regulation in the European Union and the euro area. Introductory chapter deals with proposals for the fiscal regulation contained in the Delors Report, and their practical realization in the Maastricht convergence criteria and the Stability and Growth Pact. The second chapter evaluates the impact of the crisis on the economy of the European Union and describes the current economic situation of the Union in early 2013, which is a prerequisite for the subsequent examination of the development of fiscal regulation. The main part of the thesis is an analysis of the newly adopted instruments of fiscal regulation, which is part of the third chapter. In the last chapter of the thesis, the author discusses the future political - economic development of the euro area. He tries to assess the practical benefits of banking and fiscal union and their impact on the future development of integration not only in the euro area, but also throughout the European union.
