Abstract
The purpose of this diploma thesis is to design a building of the department of water sports FS SLU in direct relation to water sports center. The building will be placed in recreational and sports area between locations Nový splav, Opava Kylešovice and Černý mlýn, Opava Komárov. The location and urban design resolution of the area is based on analysis of internal structures of the city and on theoretical knowledge about sport and its impact on mankind.
