Abstract
This thesis deals with the influence of population morbidity due to the environment through inhalation exposure and its consequent effect on pharmacological economics. The introductory chapter describes the significant inhalation exposures in the environment that affect the human body and their basic distribution and effects. The chapter is supplemented by legislation on air pollution in conjunction with the strategy of sustainable development, basic legal standards and air pollution monitoring in the Czech Republic. The next chapter is devoted to a detailed analysis of various diseases resulting from occupational lung injury following inhalation exposure. The growth of pharmacological economics as a result of improved quality of life is examined, with a description of individual specifics such as dispensation, exacerbation and the quality of life of patient with COPD. In conclusion is a summary of information found in the two proposals and recommendations based on consensus of the World Health Organization.
