Navrhovanie a využitie rezidenčných sprinklerových systémov v rôznych typoch stavieb

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the design and application of residential sprinkler systems in various types of buildings in accordance with the ČSN EN 16925 standard. The introductory part presents the theoretical background, principles of operation, and historical development of sprinkler systems. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the technical and functional analysis of these systems, providing a detailed description of their structural components, water supply sources, piping networks, and hydraulic parameters. Special attention is given to the thermal response of sprinkler heads and their spatial arrangement, which have a crucial impact on early system activation and the provision of conditions suitable for the safe evacuation of occupants. A significant part of the thesis is devoted to the comparison of residential sprinkler systems according to the ČSN EN 16925 with conventional sprinkler systems according to the ČSN EN 12845, focusing on differences in design approaches, water supply, and spatial arrangement. The final part evaluates the possibilities of applying residential sprinkler systems in various types of buildings, such as residential buildings, accommodation facilities, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities. It also provides an overview of international experience and recommendations for engineering practice.
