Abstract
The main goal of this work is to design a manufacturing procedure for the chosen casting of the segment of boiler. Theoretical part of the work is focused on some of the processes connected with casting manufacturing. Practical part deals with design of new gating system for the casting. Important part of this work is also a technical drawing of both the old and the new design of the gating system.
