Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the preparation, use and property of mortars based on low-energy hydraulic binders. The theoretical part describes the characterization of low-energy binders, their production and their use. Further described is a method of designing a hydraulic binder and procedure of tests performed on samples taken. The practical part is focused on the application of test methods aimed at verifying the properties of fresh and hardened mortars prepared from different types of low-energy hydraulic binders. Tested binders are commercial products, but for comparison were tested a newly built low-temperature hydraulic binder, which has been produced from domestic raw materials. These used raw materials are currently considered to be waste resulting from limestone mining.
