Abstract

The main goal of this thesis is design and realization of frequency converter for model of small hydroelectric power plant. The first part focuses on the design, integration and description of frequency converter from Siemens. Second part involves setting up used frequency converter by Siemens Starter software. Part three deals with commissioning of the drive and verifying proper functionality. Last part contains the concept of controlling the converter.
