Abstract
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a comparison of gas detection instruments at fire brigades in the Czech republic. The thesis contains basic information about gas detection and gases that members of HZS ČR may encounter during emergencies. The work presents individual detection means, including their comparison, which are a common part of the equipment of HZS ČR. An overview of the frequency of detection instruments in individual regions of the Czech republic was prepared from the obtained data. Part of this work is an overview of emergencies for the release of hazardous substances in the Czech Republic for the period 2014 to 2020.
