Abstract
Administrative justice as a part of the public administration control has in our territory its substantiation and a long tradition dating back to the times of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Within the administrative justice only the regional courts and the Supreme Administrative Court arbitrate and act. The aim of this thesis is to compile a comprehensive insight into the issue of administrative justice system in the Czech Republic and focus primarily on the range of local jurisdiction of the individual regional courts. This insight will lead from the administrative justice history in our country to the evaluation of the Administrative Procedure Code amendment, which was very extensive. The thesis is divided into six chapters including the introduction and conclusion. In the second chapter the historical development of administrative justice from the times of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy to the present day is described. The third chapter is devoted to the organization of administrative justice, its constitutional and statutory regulation. Chapter four is focused on the jurisdiction and competence of the single administrative justice articles (ie. regional courts and the Supreme Administrative Court). The fifth chapter deals with the Administrative Procedure Code amendment, its evaluation and considerations for the future.
