Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with the description of the fire parameters and focuses on the flame height and its calculations. There is a summary of flame height correlations and their verification. The study also reviews the parameters connected with the flame height calculation (mass loss rate, heat release rate). One part of the study deals with the linear spread rate of the fire and also considers the possibilities of verification and retrieval of its values.
