SLANÝ, Ondřej. Study of the Solution of the WASAR Unit Equipment.The thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2018. 85 p. The subject of this diploma thesis is a study of the equipment solution of the WASAR Unit. The introductory part describes the department which serves for rescue work on the water surface. It is the only specialized department in the Czech Republic with such focus and equipment. The following part contains an analysis of the current technical equipment which describes the various gear and tools that are used. As a result of the existing equipment, the proposal and the design of new technical means is created for the purpose of deployment. The next part of the thesis analyzes the foreign market in relation to available gear and tools for rescue on water and familiarization with facilities of foreign units with a similar character of the activity. A separate part of this work is devoted to the concept of depositing technical equipment in special containers. It contains proposed suitable alternatives for depositing existing and new technical gear and tools with an emphasis on efficiency and use at the place of intervention. In conclusion, a financial analysis of the proposed solution is given with regard to the production of container modules and the cost of new technical means.
