Abstract

This diploma thesis concerns with the design and appraisal of a steel manufacturing hall. The introduction involves theoretical part with regard to steel halls and crane tracks. The rest of the thesis includes static calculations. Three variants are developed and one variant is selected with the subsequent appraisal. A static calculation and the appraisal of main supporting parts are included. The thesis deals with a double nave frame hall, which serves for the production purposes. It comprises two crane tracks. One of the two tracks continues into an open store. The main supporting components of the crane track, both in the hall and in the store, are also designed. The conclusion of the thesis involves the design and appraisal of selected joints. The appendix contains the drawing part of the layout solution regarding the chosen variant along with the selected details. The production drawing of the selected construction part is also created.
