Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a control module for balancing and moving a ball on a balancing table. The FRDM-MCXN947 microcomputer module is used for the control system, which evaluates the ball’s position using a resistive touch panel. The physical tilting of the table is performed by two servomotors with an SBUS digital interface. Position control of the ball is provided through a touchscreen LCD. The thesis includes the development of a control algorithm that processes the current position and velocity of the ball, along with the creation of a simple user interface on the touchscreen LCD. The work covers both the hardware interconnection of the components and the implementation and testing of the software solution.
