Abstract

Diploma thesis is concerned with fires drying hops. In the first part describes, drying, storages, structural characteristics and technologies for heating. The second part is concerned with the drawing up of and analysis of the cause of fire based on a practical study in drying hops and evaluation of the possible occurrence of explosion, which is based from technical and safety parameters. In the third part are describes four fires drying hops in the past in the Central Bohemian and Moravian region. The fourth part sets forces, resources and intervention tactics when fighting fires in these plants. The fifth part of diploma thesis is to propose a new methodological note Combat order of fire protection. The results of this thesis can be used in the future to professional training officers and members of fire brigades, in drawing up documentation for firefighting to operation dryers and to identify the causes of fire.
