Abstract

This thesis will discuss the impact of air transport on the environment. In the introductory part is characterized airline and airport from their begining to the present. Then there will be legislation about air transport and international conventions associated with them. This is followed by a description of the impact of air transport, which has a negative effect on the environment. It is mainly noise, emissions and fauna, especially birds. There are also indispensable influences on air, soil, and more. The next chapter discusses about Leos Janacek Airport in Mošnov and about his impact on the environment, especially on conflict between aeroplanes with birds and noise impact of that on surroundings. The final section is devoted to suggestions for reducing the burden in terms of noise impact on its surroundings and any suggestions for reducing the number of aircraft conflict with birds.
