The aim of this thesis is an analysis of the barrier situation in the urban area Mařatice u Uherkého Hradiště with regards to the accessibility of public facilities and transport infrastructure, especially considering persons with limited mobility and orientation. A plan for barrier removal has been carried out based on the results of this analysis. The plan also includes a brief economical assessment for barrier- free public space in the selected area.
The main focus in this work is to point out the complexity of the public routes which is the basic requirement of the National development programme „Mobility for all“.
