Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the description of development in automotive industry from historic view and to find out what sort is the impact automotive industry on selected macroeconomic indicators of the domestic economy. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes development in car industry from historical view. The practical part deals with the impacts of automotive industry in the Czech economy in the period 2004 – 2014. The conclusion bachelor thesis outlines the near future of the automotive industry.
