Abstract
This thesis is focused on the aplication possibilities study of usage plant biomass in wastewater decontamination. Model plant we used was invasive plant Reynoutria japonica. You can find in this work why is plant biomass interesting in wastwater decontamination. This work explains the biosorption process and notices also other sorbents and their application possibilities. There is describtion of Reynoutria japonica biomass possible application research. There is explained how to prepare sorptive mix of steam and leaf biomass from our model plant. This thesis includes steps as biosorption, desorption and more further experiments like distribution of particles and measuring ash contain in activated and non-activated samples. Also there are designed decontamination system for usage in pilot plant. In addition you can find there many equations, pictures, photographs, tabs and graphs. The results shows that the plant biomass can be used for decontamination of industrial wastewater with presence of heavy metals.
