Abstract
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the modernization of older types of high-voltage switchgear. The existing transformers will be replaced with modern sensors and a modern numerical relay. The modernization will also include modifications to the mechanical parts of the switchgear to ensure the correct functionality of the new equipment. As part of the bachelor's thesis, project documentation for the switchgear modernization will be created, along with a technical and financial evaluation.
