Abstract

The goal of this thesis is assessing the social benefits administration at a selected contact point of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part focuses on the social security system in the Czech Republic, its administrative aspects, and funding. Through model examples, the practical part analyses the state social support benefits and the calculation of their amount. Moreover, it assesses social benefits expenses of the Regional Branch of the Labour Office in Ostrava and also the number of filed benefits applications via comparative analysis of the data available from 2011 to 2015.
