Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to clarify law relating to the issue of violation and enforcement of trademark rights from the economical and also legal view. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter includes the definition and types of trademarks, issues relating to trademark registration in the registry of trademarks and also deals with legislation from the perspective of civil and criminal law. In the second chapter there is an analysis of macroeconomic and microeconomic causes and consequences of violation of trademark rights. The third chapter presents the possibilities to present the violations of trademark rights.
