Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with parameters of public lighting in the mesopic area. In the theoretical part, one chapter is dedicated to physiology of the human eye. The next chapter explains the mesopic area and describes its problems. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the parameters of public lighting in terms of adaptive brightness , which is defined by the norm.
In the practical part, the approaches of measuring communication are individually described , which are illuminated using LED lights and high pressure sodium lamps. In addition to that the example of calculation of illumination is delineated on account of the mesopic area. The last chapter of the practical part compares the evaluated figures from the particular measurements.
