Abstract

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains an overview of the most used platforms for management and monitoring of the Smart Homes that are currently available on the market. The second part of the thesis describes a project and realisation of my own platform for the management and monitoring of the Smart Homes. In the project there were composed mechanisms for Smart Homes made from components at an affordable price. The thesis also describes how to connect commercial devices into the created platform, how to programme them and use in different ways, that producers describe in the manual. All devices, that were used, are controlled by the central unit made from microcomputer Raspberry Pi that is used in Smart Homes.
