Abstract

The aim of the thesis is the comparison of selected life insurance products through a multicriterion decision in selecting the optimum product for any specific entity. The thesis consists of three chapters, including introduction and conclusion. The first part is theoretical and it describes the methodology of multicriterion decision. In the second part is described life insurance, described the insurance market in the Czech Republic and individual life insurance products. In the third part, which is the application, it describes an entity subject requirements, options and criteria. Subsequently, the selected life insurance products compared and selected the optimal product for the described entity. To determine the weights used Saaty method and pairwise comparisons. Optimal product is selected by analytical hierarchical process and weighted sequence.
