Výroba feritické litiny s kuličkovým grafitem

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the introduction of the production of cast iron with spheroidal graphite (LKG) according to EN-GJS-400-18U-LT. Test castings meeting the high requirements for mechanical properties, internal homogeneity and guaranteed ferritic microstructure were cast from the mentioned type of LKG. The work comprehensively addresses the issue of metallurgical processing of cast iron - from the selection of suitable feedstock, melt management, to mastering the time course of the technology of modification and inoculation in the specific conditions of the foundry. An important result of the work is a detailed evaluation of the microstructures of test castings, their limits of strength and ductility for use at reduced temperatures.
