Sedimenty doprovázející vulkanity těšínitové asociace

Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with sediments that accompanies vulcanite of teschenite association, which we understand teschenite, pillow lavas and tuffites. The basic of this work is specifying geology of Silesian Unit flysch belt of Western Carpathians, mainly Hradiště Formation. A substantial part of the work is devoted to documentation and description of samples taken from the Ostravice river basin near the Pržno village nearby Frýdek-Místek. Evaluation of the samples sediments and vulcanite was then carried out on the basis of the macroscopic description, microscopic description and by X-ray diffraction analysis. Part of the thesis was also palynology assessment of sediments.
