Abstract

In accordance with the specifications, this work focused on determining the material income‘s management process geared towards improving the efficiency of funds invested in selected company. Work can be divided into three parts. In the first part of work, the theory of logistic management is explained. There are also described the reasons for holding stocks and the types of costs associated with material‘s incomes in this part. The models for purchasing management and auxiliary methods necessary to facilitate the differential purchasing management are explained. In the second part of work, the theory is implemented at the process of material income management in selected company. First, individual material items are categorized into the groups of analysis, ABC, XYZ. Following are basic indicators of activity and statistical characteristics of individual items calculated. Based on the results, then the third part of this work, the current situation is described and a procedure for increasing the efficiency of inventory management is suggested.
