Implementace procesu JIT 2.0 pro firmu Hyundai Glovis Czech Republic s. r. o.

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of the JIT 2.0 (Just-In-Time) process at Hyundai Glovis Czech Republic s. r. o. The thesis provides an overview of the current JIT and JIS (Just-In-Sequence) logistics systems used within the company and identifies key issues in their operation. The main objective is to analyze the existing processes in the supply chain and subsequently to design, implement, and test an optimized JIT 2.0 solution aimed at improving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. The proposed implementation includes process automation, digitalization, and real-time monitoring, which are intended to reduce lead times and minimize inventory levels. The thesis also evaluates the impact of JIT 2.0 on logistics performance, production planning, and coordination with suppliers. Furthermore, it demonstrates both the expected benefits and the potential risks of the new system. The outcomes of this thesis contribute to a deeper understanding of modern JIT principles and offer practical recommendations for companies seeking to enhance their logistics processes in the automotive industry, or potentially in other sectors as well.
