NATECH havárie z pohledu prevence závažných havárií

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on NATECH accidents, i.e. natural events causing technological accidents. The thesis emphasises the environment that can be affected by these accidents and only deals with selected natural phenomena, which are floods, extreme temperatures and storms. The work includes a description of previous NATECH accidents, both in the world and in the Czech Republic. Attention is also paid to major accidents and their prevention system. This is followed by a description of selected natural hazards causing NATECH accidents. The last point of the paper is an assessment in terms of the set system of prevention of major accidents in the Czech Republic, in which the issue of preparedness and lessons learned from these accidents is addressed.
