Abstract
The current diversification of automotive powertrains presents a complex decision-making problem for consumers. This bachelor thesis aims to compare the suitability of electric (BEV Peugeot e-308 SW), plug-in hybrid (PHEV 308 SW Hybrid), and diesel (ICE 308 SW Diesel) vehicles using the AHP multi-criteria method to support buyer decisions across three user scenarios: apartment living, a family house, and a family house with photovoltaics. Key criteria included Price, Cost/km, Operating Costs, CO2 Emissions, and Dynamics, with scenario-specific weights. Results demonstrated a strong scenario-dependency: ICE was optimal for the apartment (price/operating cost focus), BEV for the family house (cost/km, dynamics focus), and BEV overwhelmingly for the family house with PV (CO2/cost/km focus due to solar energy). The AHP method proved a suitable tool for structured car selection, emphasizing the need for individualized assessment.
