Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the design and settings of electrical protection in the substation Červenka 110/22 kV. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, the second part is practical. The theoretical part includes theoretical analysis of electrical protection. In this part the function and importance of the protection, its basic members and the division of the protection with emphasis on the overcurrent protection used in the substation is explained. Additionally, the theoretical part deals with the theoretical analysis of the calculation of short-circuit currents, description of the substation and description of the new protection used for its protection. In our case, SIPROTEC 7SJ85 protection is used to replace the old electromechanical and digital protection. First in the practical part there is presented the calculation of short-circuit ratios on individual pins 22 kV of the substation. Subsequently it deals with the actual design of the protection settings in the Červenka 110/22 kV substation. The last point of the practical part is the check of the selectivity of the protections towards the Uničov switching station and the substation Šternberk.
