Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to draw up the drawings of an elementary school building. The thesis is focused on the outer cladding technology. The school building has one ground floor and three above ground floors. The main construction element is prefab skeleton from reinforced concrete. The Building is covered by flat roof. In the underground floor there is a room for fitness, workshop, toilets, heating room and change room. Entry into the underground floor is from back side of the building where side entrance is located. Main entrance to the ground floor is from street. In ground floor are located change rooms, library and toilets. In the upper floor are placed classrooms, administration rooms and toilets for pupils. In the most upper floor (3th floor) are located classrooms, toilets and offices for school director and his deputy with assistant. Floors are interconnected by a stairs. The building is also equipped by a lift which ensures accessibility to all floors for handicapped. Outer cladding of the building is in underground floor composed from reinforced concrete panels. Those are covered by thermal insulation with hydro insulation and cavity drainage membranes or Baumit Star system. Cladding of upper floors is made from Porotherm Aku blocks thickness 40mm and thermal insulation Baumit Star. Stairs are equipped with glass façade.
