Pískovcové skalní útvary Sloupu v Čechách

Abstract

Česká skalní města patří mezi přírodní unikáty. Název „město“ není nadsázkou; údolí připomínají bulváry, soutěsky a kaňony úzké uličky, hladké svislé stěny pískovcových skal pak stěny domů. Největším rozdílem je, že lidé staví města do výšky, ale příroda „staví“ z povrchu do hloubky. Obsahem práce je přiblížit historii obce, vznik pískovcových skalních útvarů, jejich využití v minulosti a v současnosti a návrhem nové turistické trasy vyzdvihnout nejzajímavější místa Sloupu v Čechách.

The Czech sandstone rock towns are true wonders of nature. The term “town” is no exaggeration; the valleys remind of boulevards, gorges and canyons of lanes, and the smooth vertical walls of the sandstone rocks are like the walls of houses. The biggest difference is, mankind builds houses into heigths, whereas nature “builds” from the surface to the depths. The content of this work is to bring the history of the village, the emergence of sandstone rock formations, their use in the past and at present, and at the same time it's a proposal of hiking trails of the most interesting places of Sloup in Bohemia.
