Dobývání ložisek kaolínu na lomech organizace Sedlecký kaolín a.s. Božíčany na Karlovarsku

Abstract

In my work I present a history of mining of kaolin in the Karlovy Vary region, its modification and use by different types of kaolin. It is also described the occurrence of localities in which Sedlecký kaolin company do the extraction of raw materials with a basic description of the geological and storage conditions, the way of extraction and used of machinery. I also tried to describe the dump management, remediation and reclamation. This work also include a proposal to set up deposits of kaolin, which ensure smoother supply of workplace in the case of bad weather conditions, when the supply from quarry is limited by the capabilities of road transport and mining machinery. In the final chapter I try to process the economical evaluation of proposed solutions.
