Abstract

This thesis deals with the industrial surveying, surveying equipments and tools used for measuring and setting up in industry. The thesis describes entry parameters influencing the resulting precision with the use of 3D polar method. At first there are introduced basic surveying terms and rules. There are in short introduced industrial equipments and tools that are regularly used. The core part of the thesis is dedicated to geodetic measurement systems, especially single theodolite systems, and the analysis of single entry parameters. It is the analysis of polar method in measurement and set up, the choice of total station and prism used for measurement, the micro-network creation, the influence of aiming and turn deviation, and recline deviation of the target from the line of sight. The last three mentioned were tested in practical part of the thesis. The conclusion summarizes the results gained while working on this thesis and their possible usage in the area of industrial surveying.
