In the theoretical part of my thesis I explain terms: South Moravia, Mikroregion Buchlov and I characterise Buchlovice. Then I analyse the issue of traditions, folk costumes and traditions in Buchlovice. At the end of my work I have done a SWOT analysis of popular cultural events and tourism development in Buchlovice and I suggested how to improve the position of Buchlovice in the tourism. Next, I interviewed respondents to identify the influence of folk customs and traditions for tourism. This information was evaluated in graphic design.
