Abstract

The aim of the presented diploma thesis is to propose the regeneration of housing estate, located between Urxova, Budovatelská and Porubská Street. Main goal of mentioned proposal is based on an improvement of environment for local citizens, because the housing estate has not been repaired or upgraded since 1950s.

I have performed many analysis of current status and determined the most important issues which have to be solved. The possible solution is suggested with the emphasis especially on increasing number of parking lots, recovery and formation of new walkways, regeneration of green parks, creating new places for leisure-time activities and new public lightings.

The proposal of the regeneration of housing estate is made to be realizable and affordable. It also contains rough estimation of the whole budget. The project is also influenced by the reconstruction of nearby Matěje Kopeckého Street.
