Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to optimize control of inventory management in the operational area PO04 in the company Advanced World Transport, a.s. based on the analysis of the current inventory management system. At the beginning of thesis, is the introduction of company. The content of the theoretical part is the introduction of basic theoretical knowledge about stocks, inventory management, methods of inventory classification and ways of their control. In the practical part is the area PO04 introduced and on the basis of the results of realized analyzes ABC, XYZ are suggested possibilities and recommendations for improvement of the inventory control system.
