Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with theme Analysis of competitive position of butchery, precisely butchery shop Henryk Kania in Havířov. This thesis aim to analyze competitive position of this shop, to find out its advantages and disadvantages against competition and to compare this shop with main competitors. For this purpose the method of personal interview and observation method was used. Results from the conducted research are that customers prefer above everything quality of products, price and helpful staff. Overall rating of The Henryk Kania butchery shop was best but the deficit is size of assortment and therefor one of suggestion is to increase size of assortment during weekdays and to expand offer of beef meat. The questionnaire revealed that main customers of retail stores are older people with lower income. One of the suggestions in this thesis is to allure customers with free tasting method.
