Abstract

This thesis examines the SINAMICS DC MASTER converter. It describes its basic equipment, the possibility of extension with the additional components and compares the SINAMICS DC MASTER converter with its predecessor, SIMOREG DC MASTER 6RA70 converter. The next section demonstrates the control mechanisms with the basic operator panel BOP20, advanced operator panelAOP30, remote control or a personal computer with the STARTER software installed. We also did the measurements of the whole drive, which means the converter connected to a DC dynamo operating in motor mode.
