Stanovení parametrů smykové pevnosti jílovitých zemin v laboratorních podmínkách

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with determination of mechanical, index and basic physical properties of clayey soils in laboratory conditions. The main aim of the thesis was to determine the shear parameters of clayey soils using a shear box test. The thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical part deals with the general distribution of soil and their properties. Subsequently, clay soils with a focus on mineral composition are described in more detail. An important part of thesis is the chapter dealing with the assessment of shear strengths parameters of cohesive soils. The part called Laboratory measurement deals with the description of the tests carried out and with the determination of the basic parameters of two samples of fine-grained soil.
