Abstract

Aim of this diploma work is to find appropriate statistical tools to model trend of standard failure rates for personal computers during lifecycle when use by customers and also method to solve early detection of failure rates beyond standard failure rates of products in early phase of their lifecycle. Detection of abnormal failure rates should initiate detail failure analysis, root cause analysis, it’s correction in manufacturing process and planning and realization corrective actions for already shipped product to remove or minimize impact of failure in field.
